For a daily fee, per device, you can use your mobile plan inclusions and rates in Daily Roaming destinations. Our fair use policy applies to your use of any service. *Hotspot data is included on all mobile plans with speeds matching your mobile plan. After your Hotspot data allocation is fully utilised, speeds will be reduced to a maximum of 1.2Mbps. Your Hotspot experience will be subject to the proximity of your Hotspot device, your device’s Hotspot capability and the network congestion in your area.

We launched MyRepublic Mobile in August 2022 with the intention to shake up the mobile market. We achieved this by being the first in NZ to launch unlimited mobile at the speed you need plans. This included the hugely popular Starter plan, providing the country’s cheapest unlimited mobile data plan. Since we stopped offering broadband services, it’s time to say goodbye to the MyRepublic brand in NZ and reintroduce ourselves as Rocket Mobile.

If you’re already with us, sweet as. Everything you know and love about MyRepublic, like our awesome, low priced unlimited mobile data plans, will remain the same. All you need to do is follow the simple steps we’ll send to your email inbox to transfer your account over to Rocket Mobile, and you’ll be all set. Our new app will also make it even easier for you to change your details, your plan, add connections, and more, so download it today.

With so much jam-packed into our plans, there’s not much else you have to worry about. If you want to send a PXT or MMS, we offer 10 free MMS messages per month with every plan. If you want to send more, and in general for sharing images or videos, we recommend using methods that work over wifi or mobile data, such as Whatsapp or Messenger.

We also won’t charge you extra for checking your voicemail.

Voice calls to non NZ/AU phone numbers, and calls/SMSes to premium rate numbers (e.g. reply “yes” messages that are subject to additional charges), aren’t available just yet.

Absolutely. All of Rocket Mobile mobile plans are 5G ready. However, if you’re looking for 5G speeds, then we recommend you jump on our Rocket Mobile Max plan which offers Unlimited mobile data at Max Speed.
